There are be two versions of WinGate 2. WinGate 2 Lite and WinGate 2 Professional versions.

This is a list of features, and improvements over WinGate 1.3.*. The features listed below are explained in further detail in the rest of this manual.

WinGate 2 Lite

With WinGate 2 Lite, there are two built in users, and no more can be added. The Administrator user has full control over the WinGate configuration, but from the WinGate machine only. The other user is Guest. This means effectively that the following features are not available in WinGate 2 Lite. Remote Administration is not possible on Lite.

As there are only 2 users, Administrator and Guest, no assumptions can be made based on IP of user. Therefore in the Lite version the Location icon will not appear on the configuration pane.
