Internet Information Server - IIS

The services controlled by the Internet Service manager are simple to configure for alternative ports. This setup assumes that the server is running on the WinGate machine. If this is not the case, change the machine name and port to suit.

WWW setup:

WinGate steps:

1. In GateKeeper, edit the WWW proxy on port 80

2. On the Non Proxy Request tab select Pipe Request to other server

3. Enter localhost for the Server,

4. Enter 80 for the port

5. Click OK to exit the dialog.

6. Save the Changes

WWW Steps:

1. Open the Internet service manager

2. If WWW service is not started, start it.

3. Double click for the properties

4. In TCP Port enter 80

5. Click OK

6. Stop and restart the service.

FTP Setup:

WinGate steps:

1. In GateKeeper, edit the FTP proxy on port 21

2. On the Non Proxy Request tab select Pipe Request to other server

3. Enter localhost for the Server

4. Enter 8021 for the port

5. Click OK to exit the dialog.

6. Save the Changes

FTP Steps:

1. Open the Internet service manager

2. If FTP service is not started, start it.

3. Double click for the properties

4. In TCP Port enter 8021

5. Click OK

6. Stop and restart the service.
