Interface check

You do not need to do this check if you only use a modem.

If you have a fulltime connection to the Internet, or access through a dialup router, WinGate can check to make sure it does not make this interface available for access to services. Check the box below if you wish WinGate to perform this check on first-time startup.

This check may take a couple of minutes to complete if you are not currently connected to the Internet, which may mean that it could take a couple of minutes to log into WinGate with GateKeeper after installation.
