Andante
HTTPport=8080
Then set up a HTTP service on port 8080 with a default map to the computer
running Andante. Make sure that this port does not get cached.
Make sure that the WinGate local users (192.*.*.*) have a setting in the
browser not to use the proxy server for the address:port of the computer running
Andante. That way they will not traverse WinGate locally. The mapping is only
necessary if they want to access Andante remotely.
Setting up the SMTP client in Andante during the install for the POP3
account is just like any other mail program:
host: wingate
user: user#domain.com
pwd: whatever
The stuff is stored in the \Program Files\ Andante \mailgate.ini file, and it
looks like this:
SMTPClient]
CheckPeriod=1
MaxMsgSize=6300
POP3User= andante #site.net
POP3Password=whatever
HostName=site.somewhere
[Domains]
POP3Server=wingate
SMTPServer=wingate
You must have a host file on the machine running Andante as per usual.
