Virus Scanning
eScan has a highly advanced virus scan engine that blocks, detects and removes viruses, worms and Trojan Horses.
It will also repair any changes made on the system by viruses and spyware.
Real time Email Scanning and SPAM BLOCKER
eScan will scan all incoming and outgoing email as well as their attachments for viruses or restricted content.
eScan has many unique features that allow it to recognize and delete new viruses and worms even before a protection upate has been released for it.
Spyware/Adware Detection and Removal - NEW
The eScan Utility Toolkit now scans the system for spyware and adware, those malicious software programs that are installed without
your knowledge, and wipes them from your system.
Scan Internet Downloads and Control Internet Traffic
The Content Administrator in eScan allows you to monitor
and administer Internet traffic flowing into or out of your system.
With this powerful feature you may block or allow access to
specific sites or pages using restricted words.
PopUp Filter (Ad Blocker)
A PopUp is an Ad or unsolicited information that appears in a new browser window when a user accesses particular
web pages. PopUps are not only exasperating,
but consume valuable bandwidth and employee production
time in chasing and closing them.
Additional Features
eScan has many new features that offer optimal control over virus
scanning and content security related activity. Some of them include:
- remote access file rights - you can allow or bar specific files
from being created or modified by remote users in your network
- automatic
download of Anti-Virus updates - no user intervention required to ensure your antivirus signatures are updated.
- automatic emailing of notifications to
users.
eScan Management Console
eScan Management Console (eServ), functions as a centralized server
that allows you to remotely install, distribute updates/upgrades and deploy rules
to all machines on your network. In a large
corporate network environment, you can significantly reduce the costs
(and Internet traffic) by setting up a centralized updating structure.
Each system is not required to download updates from the Internet, deploy license keys or assign
security policies for individual machines but can all be accomplished through the central
server.
